Russia honoured two teenage boys from Crocus City Hall, who saved hundreds during the deadly terror attack on 22 March that killed 139 and injured 100 more.
Teenage champions, Islam Khalilov and Artyom Donskoy, lauded for their valor during the Moscow attack, are honored with awards.
Islam Khalilov, who works part-time in the cloakroom at the venue, guided panicked people to safety.
The video of the heroic act also went viral on social media, garnering appreciation from the netizens.
In the video, Khalilov could be seen shouting “That way, that way," leading scores to an emergency exit.
"Everybody go that way. Everybody over there. To the Expo, to the Expo…." he could be heard saying in the video.
"At first we heard some strange sounds on the first floor. We thought maybe some noisy group had come," the brave boy said in an interview.
"I understood that if I didn't react, I would lose my life and the lives of many people. Honestly, it was very scary," he added.
More than 110 people were killed and over 145 were injured on Friday night after armed men attacked a concert of Soviet-era rock group “Picnic”.
