The Israeli military offensive has wiped out 902 families from the civil registry of the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, according to the Government Media Office in the enclave.
“As part of the ongoing genocide carried out by the Israeli Occupation army with full American support, the Occupation army has exterminated 902 Palestinian families, erasing them from the civil registry by killing all their members during a year of genocide in Gaza,” the Palestinian authority stated.
The media office detailed the devastating impact of Israeli genocide on human lives, stating that the occupation army “exterminated 1,364 Palestinian families, killing all their members except for one survivor per family.”
Additionally, 3,472 Palestinian families have been annihilated, with only two members of each family surviving.
The Gaza Media Office condemned European and Western countries for supplying “lethal and internationally prohibited weapons,” accusing the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and others of complicity in the massacres.
The authority urged international organisations to pressure the US administration and “the criminal Occupation to stop the genocide” in Gaza, as Israel’s “continuous bloodshed” persists with impunity, killing thousands of innocent civilians.
Despite the orders of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to cease military operations in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has intensified its attacks on the enclave while simultaneously imposing an aid blockade on the starving Palestinians.
The overall Palestinian death toll since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza has reached at least 41,689 with more than 96,625 wounded. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
