The Israeli army killed at least 84 Palestinians, including over 50 children, in airstrikes on two residential buildings in northern Gaza, leaving devastation across the enclave.

The deadly attack on Friday horrified Palestinian residents as they continued to lose loved ones amid the relentless Israeli assault.

An Israeli airstrike also targeted a shelter in Nuseirat Camp, Deir al-Balah, with shelling from warships, killing and injuring several civilians, including children.

Al Jazeera reported that the injured and deceased were transported to the hospital on animal carts, as rescue and civil defense teams were unable to access the area.

The occupation forces continue to target humanitarian zones, on the pretext of unsubstantiated claims of aiming at Hamas militants within refugee camps, resulting in thousands of civilian deaths.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has targeted around 200 school-turned-shelters, where displaced Palestinians sought refuge from the IDF’s onslaught.

Throughout a 35-day siege in northern Gaza, the Israeli army has killed over 1,000 civilians through relentless bombings of hospitals, school shelters, and residential areas.

Videos and pictures of horrific violence cotinue to surface on social media from Jabalia, Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun, amid a communications blackout in the northern regions of Gaza due to relentless Israeli military offensive.

The overall Palestinian death toll since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza has reached at least 43,824 with more than 100,833 wounded. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
