The Palestine Action Coalition of Pakistan (PACP) has strongly condemned and outright rejected what it termed the “shameful and treacherous stance” of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, following his reported support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza plan.

In a statement, the coalition said this move was an affront to the Pakistani nation, which has historically stood unwaveringly with the Palestinian cause and the sanctity of Al-Aqsa.

“No amount of dollars or deceit can buy Pakistan’s stance on Al-Aqsa or the Palestinian struggle for freedom,” the coalition declared.

“We demand an immediate reversal of this position and an apology to the people of Pakistan, whose very identity is rooted in the principle of self-determination.”

The coalition warned that any plan denying Palestinians their fundamental rights to self-defense and self-determination would amount to a betrayal of justice and humanity.

“We will not remain silent while the rights of Palestinians are bartered away,” the statement added.

The PACP put forward three immediate demands:

Retraction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement.

An unconditional apology to the Pakistani nation.

A renewed and unwavering commitment to supporting Palestine’s right to self-determination.
