Muslims across the world on Monday will be able to spot the Qibla simply by facing the sun.
According to Saudi astronomers, the sun will pass directly over the top of the Holy Kaaba in Makkah at 12:17 local time.
The sun passes directly over the Kaaba twice a year on May 27 and July 15.
The celestial phenomenon is called “zero shadow” as the sun will be at 90 degrees.
During this time, Holy Kaaba's structure will cast no shadow, astronomers said.
