U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Israel and Arab leaders have already approved Washington’s peace proposals.
Speaking to the media at the White House, President Trump stated that the United States is now waiting for Hamas to accept the plan.
He said Hamas has three to four days to respond to the proposals. “Hamas will either accept the plan or it will not,” he remarked.
The U.S. President further warned that if Hamas rejects the peace proposals, the outcome would be “very unfortunate.” He added that there is little room left for further negotiations on the peace plan.
The plan, endorsed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calls for an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages within 72 hours, the disarmament of Hamas, and a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. It also envisions a transitional authority led by Trump after the conflict.

While Netanyahu has publicly expressed support for the proposal, saying Israeli forces would maintain a presence in much of Gaza, Hamas has yet to issue a formal response.
A senior Hamas figure earlier said the group had not received the 20-point plan directly.
Quoting sources, AFP reported that Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Egypt’s intelligence chief Hassan Mahmoud Rashad presented the document during a meeting with Hamas negotiators.
According to the sources, Hamas agreed to study the plan “in good faith” and respond in due course.
