US President Donald Trump has given Hamas until Sunday evening to accept his proposal for Gaza’s future, describing it as the group’s “last chance” to avoid unprecedented consequences.
“An agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at SIX (6) P.M., Washington, D.C. time,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Friday. “Every Country has signed on! If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas.”
Earlier in the week, Trump announced that Hamas would be given three to four days to respond to the 20-point framework, which he unveiled as a roadmap for resolving the conflict.

The plan demands the group’s disarmament — a condition Hamas has historically rejected.
A source close to Hamas confirmed on Wednesday that the proposal was under review. The document lays out a series of measures including an immediate ceasefire, the exchange of all hostages held by Hamas for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli custody, a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, the dismantling of Hamas’s military capabilities, and the establishment of a transitional administration overseen by an international body.
