US President Donald Trump has warned Israel against launching strikes on Iran or violating the recently established ceasefire between the two nations. The warning came shortly after Israel's Defense Minister ordered intensified attacks on Iran, alleging Tehran had breached the truce.

According to a report by Axios, President Trump made a direct phone call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told him not to proceed with any military action against Iran following the ceasefire agreement.

Before Trump's strong statement, Israel had accused Iran of firing missiles in violation of the truce and vowed to retaliate with what it described as “intensified strikes.”

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday before departing for a NATO summit in the Netherlands, President Trump expressed clear frustration with both Israel and Iran over the violations.

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal, came out and dropped a load of bombs — the likes of which I’ve never seen before,” Trump said, referring to the immediate Israeli strikes after the truce took effect.

“I’m not happy with Israel. You know, when I say, ‘OK, now you have 12 hours,’ you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have. So, I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either.”

"We have two countries (Israel and Iran) that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know WTF they are doing," he said.

Explosions rock Tehran after Trump tells Israel not to bomb Iran

Soon after Trump's remarks, two explosions were reported in Tehran, raising further concerns over the fragility of the ceasefire and the potential for renewed escalation.
