Turkish actor Celal Al expresses solidarity with Kashmir, lauds Pakistan-Turkiye friendship

Turkish actor Celal Al, known for his role in the hit series Diriliş: Ertuğrul, has expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir and offered heartfelt prayers for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis.

In a message highlighting the strong historical ties between Turkiye and Pakistan, Celal stated, “We love our Pakistani brothers. You stood with us during our darkest hours.”

His remarks have been warmly received by Pakistani social media users, who praised the actor for consistently supporting the country on important issues.

Pahalgam false-flag operation by India has sparked tensions between both the nuclear neighbours.

The United States has called on both India and Pakistan to avoid escalating tensions and instead focus on resolving their issues peacefully.

During a press briefing, U.S. State Department spokesperson Tamie Bruce said Washington is closely monitoring the situation in Indian-administered Kashmir and is in touch with leaders from other nations regarding the matter.

“The world is watching the situation between Pakistan and India,” she remarked.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also emphasized restraint, stating that the U.S. will soon engage with officials from both countries.

“We will urge both sides to avoid further escalation,” he said, adding that efforts will be made to facilitate dialogue between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
