Twelve people killed in Missouri plane crash, state highway patrol says

A total of 12 people were feared dead after a plane crashed on Sunday in Butler, Missouri, a social media post by the Missouri State Highway Patrol stated.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident happened near the Butler Memorial Airport.
"As far as we know at this point, everyone on board (12 persons) has lost their life," the Missouri State Highway Patrol mentioned in its post on X.
The town of Butler is located about 60 miles from Kansas City, Missouri.Before that, six people lost their lives in a mid-air collision between two helicopters over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, according to reports.
The helicopter crash took place around 11:59 GMT in the southwestern part of Rio de Janeiro known as Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Globo News reported.The first helicopter carried four passengers with one pilot while the second carried just the pilot.
"The pilot and the passenger on board both lost their lives," the spokesperson of the RJ Fire Department said.All occupants in the two aircraft died and there were explosions after they struck ground near a parking spot for electric cars.
