A horrific incident unfolded in Mangaluru where a young man was lynched by a mob of Hindu extremists after he allegedly chanted “Pakistan Zindabad” during a local cricket match.

According to Indian media, the altercation began near the Bhatra Kolurthi temple, where a match was underway.

The victim, whose name has not yet been disclosed by authorities, reportedly had a dispute with a man identified as Sachin. The argument escalated, and the victim called a few acquaintances for support.

Tensions quickly spiraled out of control as a mob formed and launched a violent attack using sticks, rods, and other blunt weapons.

The young man succumbed to severe internal injuries and blood loss before he could receive medical attention.

Police arrived on the scene, recovered the body, and arrested 15 suspects in connection with the killing. However, three individuals involved in the assault are still at large.

A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as multiple internal injuries and excessive bleeding.

The victim's identity remains undisclosed, and investigations are ongoing.
