Woman files complaint against husband for not feeding her fast food daily

In a bizarre incident, a woman took her husband to the police station and filed a complaint against him over his refusal to feed her fast food, it emerged on Thursday.

According to Indian media, the dispute took place in Taj Nagri, Agra city, where the woman got married a year ago. 

She had a fondness for fast food, but her husband preferred simple food, local media reported.

Despite her initial tolerance, she soon demanded fast food every day, which led to fights between the couple.

Feeling neglected, she left her in-laws and filed a complaint at the police station, citing her husband's refusal to provide her with "chow mein, burgers, dosa, and pizza".

The police, surprised by this unique complaint, referred the matter to the Family Counseling Centre for reconciliation.

During the counseling session, the woman reiterated her demands, leaving the family council members in stitches too.

After counseling, both spouses were advised on the fragility of relationships and a compromise was reached.

Indian media said that the husband agreed to feed his wife fast food once a week.

With the dispute resolved, the woman happily returned to her in-laws' home in Bharatpur with her husband, bringing an end to this unusual marital discord.
