Two women were injured after a dispute over a seat on a BRT bus in Peshawar escalated into a physical altercation.

According to details, the incident occurred during a BRT journey when an argument broke out between female passengers over a seat.

The dispute, which initially involved verbal abuse and heated exchanges, soon turned into a physical fight.

Sources said the women, enraged during the confrontation, picked up each other’s handbags and repeatedly smashed them against the windows of the BRT bus, causing panic and chaos inside the vehicle.

After receiving information about the incident, BRT security personnel intervened and removed the women involved from the bus at the station.

However, the confrontation did not end there. After being taken off the bus, the women reportedly resumed fighting on the station platform.

BRT security officials detained the women involved for causing disorder in a public place and allegedly violating BRT rules, and initiated legal proceedings against them.
