Gold price rises slightly in Pakistan despite global dip

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a slight increase on Wednesday, in line with developments in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs300 to reach Rs355,000 per tola.
The price of 10-gram gold was reported at Rs304,355, reflecting a decrease of Rs257 during the day.
On Tuesday, gold had witnessed a significant drop of Rs1,600 per tola, closing at Rs354,700.
Internationally, the gold rate rose by $3 to $3,323 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. The price per tola of silver stood at Rs3,963.
