Gold price sees big decline in Pakistan amid global drop

Gold prices saw a notable drop in both local and international markets on Friday.
In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs3,300 to reach Rs348,700, while the rate for 10 grams declined by Rs2,833, settling at Rs298,950, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, the gold price per tola remained stable at Rs352,000.
Internationally, the price of gold dropped by $33, reaching $3,305 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices registered an uptick. The price per tola of silver rose by Rs40 to stand at Rs3,497.
