Gold prices continue to soar in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Wednesday, mirroring gains in international markets.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, reaching Rs277,000.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs858 to stand at Rs237,483. This follows Tuesday's Rs1,000 per tola increase, which brought the price to Rs276,000.

On the global front, gold prices also saw an uptick. The APGJSA reported the international gold rate at $2,652 per ounce, including a $20 premium, reflecting a $10 increase during the day.

In contrast, silver prices remained stable in the local market, with per tola rates holding steady at Rs3,350.
