Gold prices increase locally, globally

Gold prices have soared both on the global markets and locally, with notable increases in the bullion market.

Internationally, the price of gold per ounce rose by $21, reaching an all-time high of $2,622.

Locally, 24-carat gold prices surged significantly. On Saturday, the price of gold per tola increased by 2,100 Pakistani rupees, reaching 273,400 rupees.

Similarly, the price per 10 grams climbed by 1,800 rupees to settle at 234,396 rupees.

In contrast to gold, silver prices remained unchanged. The price of silver per tola stayed at 3,350 rupees, while the cost per 10 grams held steady at 2,872.08 rupees.
