Gold prices rise by Rs2,000 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices increased in the local market on Monday, in line with gains in the international market.

The price of gold per tola rose by Rs2,000 to Rs461,936, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,715 to Rs396,035.

On Saturday, gold per tola had settled at Rs459,936 after declining by Rs500. In the international market, gold gained $20 to reach $4,395 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs80 to Rs7,029 per tola.
