Dr Mahnoor Nasir, who was injured in an acid attack in Quetta, will remain under treatment in the hospital for at least a month as doctors continue a series of surgeries to address her injuries.
Medical sources said Dr Mahnoor sustained deep wounds to her lips and nose in the attack. Doctors performed a procedure on her lips as part of ongoing treatment.
Sources said Dr Mahnoor's condition is no longer in danger, but she continues to face a lengthy recovery process. Her vision remains blurry, prompting a detailed examination by an ophthalmologist.
Doctors have closely monitored her eye condition and are continuing treatment to assess and manage any damage caused by the attack.
Medical experts said multiple surgeries will be required over the next month as part of efforts to restore affected areas and support her recovery.
