“Assigning blame without proof deepens divides:” Hania Aamir on India’s allegations against Pakistan

Renowned actor Hania Aamir  issued a clarification, stating that a fake Instagram post criticising Pakistan's army chief is being falsely attributed to her. She condemned extremism and criticised India’s ongoing blame game against Pakistan.

Earlier, Dialogue Pakistan reported on a fabricated Instagram post being circulated by Indian accounts on X, falsely claiming that Hania Aamir had accused the Pakistani army of orchestrating the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Taking to Instagram, Hania Aamir denied the allegation, saying, “It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.”

She condemned the spread of misinformation during “a deeply sensitive and emotional time,” emphasising, “Pain like this is real and it deserves empathy, not politicisation.”

Hania, who enjoys a strong following on both sides of the border, also responded to India’s accusations against Pakistan, without naming anyone, stating, “It’s easy to let emotions cloud our judgement but we must remember; the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation and its people.”

"Asssigning blame without proof only deepens divides and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice and healing," she added.

She concluded her message by extending love and well wishes to her fans, urging everyone not to believe any unverified reports or statements attributed to her.
