Bushra Ansari criticizes Ramadan transmissions for distracting people from worship

Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has expressed concern that Ramadan transmissions have diverted people's focus away from worship.

In her latest vlog, she commented on the growing trend of Ramadan transmissions, stating that previously, people observed fasts with devotion, but now they merely endure hunger while watching television.

While preparing Iftar at home, she engaged with her audience and remarked that in the past, people would spend their fasts praying and reciting the Quran.

However, she believes that now, many spend the day engrossed in Ramadan transmissions instead.

She acknowledged that Ramadan transmissions have existed before but were not as trendy as they are now. Although she sometimes participates in these shows herself, she feels that people in earlier times spent their fasts more meaningfully in worship.

Bushra Ansari further noted that when people did not watch Ramadan transmissions, they dedicated their time to reciting Tasbeeh and engaging in religious devotion.

She concluded by saying that today, many people observe fasts without worship, turning them into mere acts of starvation.
