Bushra Iqbal shares update of case on Aamir Liaquat's fourth death anniversary

June 9 marks 4th death anniversary of late televangelist and religious scholar Aamir Liaquat Hussain.

Bushra Iqbal, the first wife of the late televangelist, gave an update on the case.

She revealed that witness statements are being recorded and the trial against Dania Malik is still on. She added that she will fight for Aamir’s dignity and requested prayers on the occasion of his death anniversary.

Aamir Liaquat was born on July 5, 1971 in Karachi. In his youth, he entered the field of journalism and served with several newspapers.

He later gained prominence as an anchor on private television channels, earning wide recognition for his presenting skills.

Sorrow overshadowed Aamir Liaquat’s life when he married TikToker Dania Shah for the third time. On June 9, 2022, he was found dead in his home. The cause of death could not be determined. His daughter, Dua Aamir, registered a case, but even after three years, there has been no significant progress in the investigation.

The late anchor’s children seek justice against those who circulated his indecent videos.

Meanwhile, Dania Shah demands a share in the inheritance and intends to file a murder case against Aamir Liaquat’s children and his first wife.

In 2022, Dania Shah was arrested for allegedly leaking Aamir Liaquat’s explicit videos.

Several months later, the court granted her bail and ordered her release.
