Feroze Khan’s sister rejects his ex-wife’s domestic abuse claims

Actor Feroze Khan’s younger sister, actress Dua Malik, has said she never witnessed any violence or inappropriate behavior between her brother and his ex-wife Aliza Sultan. In contrast, she recalled personally witnessing violence in the case of actor Mohsin Abbas Haider and his wife.

Dua Malik made these remarks during a recent podcast where she was asked why she had spoken out against Mohsin Abbas Haider when he was accused of domestic abuse, yet remained silent when her own brother faced similar allegations.

In response, Dua explained that in Mohsin’s case, she had seen the abuse herself. “At that time, no one believed Mohsin Abbas Haider’s wife. Gohar Rasheed and I spoke first because we had witnessed it,” she said, adding that both Mohsin and his wife were her friends. She further mentioned that the couple later resolved their issues.

When it came to her brother Feroze Khan, however, Dua said she had neither seen nor heard of any such incident. “Feroze had his own personal life. I never saw any violence or inappropriate behavior between him and his ex-wife, nothing like that happened,” she maintained.

She went on to add, “I stand witness that nothing like this ever took place.”

Feroze Khan and his ex-wife, Aliza Sultan, confirmed their divorce in September 2022. The couple, who married in 2018, share two children.

That same year, during a child custody case in a Karachi court, Aliza accused Feroze of serious domestic abuse. Pictures of her alleged injuries circulated widely on social media.

While Feroze strongly denied the accusations, Aliza continued to share claims of violence. The controversy led to calls for a ban on Feroze Khan, forcing him to step away from the screen for a period.
