The National Coordination Centre for Investigating Cybercrimes and Internet Activities (NCCIA) has extended its probe into the high-profile gambling case in which YouTuber Saadur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai is currently under custody.

Amid allegations of promoting and participating in online gambling through apps, four more influencers, including Iqra Kanwal of Sistrology, have been summoned for investigation.

A copy of the summon sent to Kanwal stated that she is accused of encouraging young people to invest in gambling apps and using her social media platforms to promote online investments.

The notice alleges that Kanwal “designed an orchestrated scheme to loot innocent people’s hard-earned money by convincing them to invest in unregistered, unlicensed online apps.”

The summon directs Iqra Kanwal to appear in person at the NCCIA office in Lahore to present her defense against the allegations. The notice also warns that failure to comply could result in the continuation of legal proceedings in her absence.

The National Crime and Narcotics Intelligence Agency (NCNIA) has also summoned three other influencers, Anas Ali, Hasnain Shah, and Mudassar Hassan, under the same allegations. They have been directed to appear on Tuesday.
