"Happily divorced man:" Agha Ali confirms parting ways with Hina Altaf

Pakistani actor Agha Ali has finally put all the rumours to rest surrounding his relationship status with his wife Hina Altaf.

The couple, who tied the knot in May 2020, had been facing separation rumors since 2022. However, they had never publicly confirmed or denied the speculations until now.

For the first time, the Dil-e-Gumshuda star has addressed the speculations during a recent podcast hosted by actor Ahmed Ali Butt.

At the outset of the interview, Butt referred to Agha as a "happily divorced man," prompting the actor to laugh out loud. 

Butt acknowledged that the marriage was a personal matter but expressed admiration for how Agha and Hina handled the separation. 

"You both handled it very well, which I value and respect a lot. Otherwise, it is publicised. A drama is created on social media," Butt remarked.

Agha reflected on his experience, saying, "Life is hard, but I'm doing well now. I think any relationship in life that you have made with your own happiness, you have to keep it alive. One should try hard and pray, but if things are not going in the right direction, then the relationship should be ended."

Agha said that despite the divorce, he and Hina will always maintain respect for each other. 

"That is the best thing because often when a relationship ends, people don't respect each other, and hatred builds up. When relationships end on a bad note, there is malice and hatred."

Agha noted that separating from Hina was an incredibly difficult decision. 

"My father died when I was five years old, so I can understand how a child can live without a mother or father, thankfully nothing like that happened," he shared.

The star also requested his fans to pray for him and Hina for their future.

Earlier in August, the renowned morning show host Madeeha Naqvi confirmed that the couple had parted ways.

Later, she retracted her statement, saying it was "completely a slip of tongue".
