“I want to visit Karachi to meet Umer Sharif’s family,” says Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever

Renowned Bollywood actor Johnny Lever expressed his desire to visit Karachi and meet with the family of the esteemed late comedian Umer Sharif.

Johnny Lever shared his deep connection with Umer Sharif's family, sharing that he was in touch with his daughter. 

“I want to visit Karachi to meet Umer Sharif’s family,” he said. 

In a recent candid interview, the Baazigar actor revealed he considers the legendary comedian's wife a sister, and often speaks with her on the phone.

A few days prior to his death, Johnny Lever sent prayers for a speedy recovery for Pakistan's star satirist.

He reminisced about his friendships with acclaimed comedians including, Moin Akhtar, Amanullah Khan, Rauf Lala, Shakeel Siddiqui, and many more.

He further expressed a deep desire to visit Lahore and Karachi.

The famous comedian revealed that Imran Khan and Zaheer Abbas are still his favourite cricketers from Pakistan.

He also expressed his admiration for the iconic Pakistani actors Mohammad Ali, Nadeem, and Shabnam.

The Dilwale actor thanked his Pakistani fans profusely, saying he was at a loss for words to show his appreciation for their support.

Johnny Lever has often shown his affection for Pakistan. He also starred in the Lollywood film "Love Mein Ghum" in 2011.
