The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has lodged FIRs against three more well-known YouTubers for allegedly promoting illegal gambling applications on their social media channels.

On Thursday, the agency booked influencers Iqra Kanwal, popularly known as Sisterology, Nadeem Mubarak, better known as Nani Wala, and Muhammad Hasnain Shah. According to the NCCIA, despite being summoned on three separate occasions to record their statements, the three deliberately avoided appearing before investigators.

“The three have been accused of promoting illegal online trading applications and luring Pakistani citizens into investing in these apps by tempting them with promises of profit, thereby misleading them,” the agency said. It added that dedicated raiding teams have now been formed to arrest the suspects.

Just a day earlier, the NCCIA had also registered FIRs against YouTubers Rajab Butt, Muhammad Anas, and Huraira under various sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) for allegedly marketing gambling and unauthorized applications.

Among the apps named were Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game, which the agency said duped users out of “their hard-earned money” without returning any profits. Rajab Butt was specifically accused of working as a brand ambassador for Binomo and promoting the platform through his YouTube and TikTok content.
