Katy Perry publicly confirms relationship with former Canadian PM Justin Trudeau

Katy Perry recently revealed her relationship with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in an Instagram announcement.

Perry is currently on tour for her Lifetime album and recently visited Japan. Fans on social media that Perry and Trudeau seem to be in love, given that Perry posted a photo with a scenic view and she also posted a video of a dinner hanging out with Trudeau, both looking happy.

Perry also posted, "Tokyo times on tour and more," which many took to mean the captured moments within the carousel post were from Japan.

The pair were seen together with Japan's former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yoko Kishida, who confirmed her relationship with Trudeau when she referred to her as Trudeau's partner in a post.

The relationship became public after Perry and Trudeau were seen walking together in Montreal.

Trudeau was also seen in the audience, sitting in a front-row seat, at one of Perry's Lifetime Tour concerts.

This is Perry's first relationship after her 2025 split with husband Orlando Bloom, with whom she was in a 10-year relationship. Trudeau split from Sophie, his spouse, in 2023.
