Madiha Rizvi ties the knot with friend in intimate wedding ceremony

Renowned actress Madiha Rizvi tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony on Wednesday, one year after her divorce from actor Hasan Nauman.

Videos and photos from Rizvi's wedding ceremony circulated on social media, in which she was seen walking down the aisle with her two daughters.

As per reports, Madiha exchanged vows with her friend and writer Junaid Ali Parvez, who is from Karachi.

The duo opted for a peach and white color theme for their wedding ensembles. Juniad donned a kurta pajama with a waistcoat, while Madiha adorned a traditional flowing gown and a kundan headband (matha patti).

Her husband shared a video of Madiha's wedding shoot on his Instagram account, accompanied by a heartwarming caption for his new wife.

“The way Bibi Fatima was a flower of Heaven to Maula Ali. You have become the flower of my life and with the beautiful scent of your presence, you have filled my life, soul and body with love and happiness that words can never truly express,” his post read.

“May Allah always bless us with the best and guide us towards the path of Imaan and strong our bond with our faith and each other. Ameen. I love you,” he added.

Fans and fellow celebrities showered the newlyweds with congratulations and well-wishes for their new journey together.

Madiha's first marriage to actor Hasan Nauman, which took place in 2014, ended in divorce in November 2022 after eight years together. She herself confirmed the news of their separation. The couple have two daughters together.
