Pakistani actor Mahira Khan called on men to speak out against violence towards women while attending the British Asian Trust Annual Dinner held at The Peninsula London.

Addressing attendees at the high-profile charity event, Khan emphasised the importance of men's participation in efforts to end violence against women, urging them to use their voices and influence to help bring about change.

The annual fundraiser brought together prominent figures from business, philanthropy, politics, media and entertainment to support the British Asian Trust's programmes across South Asia, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Khan represented Pakistan's entertainment industry at the event, joining a guest list that included singer Jay Sean, actors Amy Jackson, Ed Westwick, Meera Syal, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Tez Ilyas, Kunal Nayyar, Archie Panjabi and Preeya Kalidas.

The British Asian Trust was founded in 2007 by King Charles III, then the Prince of Wales, alongside a group of British Asian business leaders. The organisation works to tackle poverty and social inequality through initiatives focused on education, livelihoods, mental health, conservation and protecting vulnerable communities.
