Pop music sensation Olivia Rodrigo has voiced strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza, describing the atrocities against innocent Palestinians as “horrific and unacceptable.”
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram story, the Grammy-winning artist said she was heartbroken over the suffering of innocent people in Palestine.
“It’s impossible to put my feelings into words,” she wrote, expressing her sorrow over the devastating images coming out of Gaza.
Rodrigo highlighted the dire humanitarian conditions, stating that mothers, fathers, and children in Gaza are facing extreme hunger, thirst, and are being deprived of essential medical care and other basic necessities.
The singer emphasized that such treatment of children should not be tolerated anywhere in the world — whether it’s in Israel, Palestine, or any other country. “This situation is terrifying and unacceptable,” she stated. “If we remain silent, it would be a denial of our shared humanity.”
