Renowned chef Naheed Ansari passes away in Karachi

Renowned chef Naheed Ansari, who had hosted several cooking shows on private TV channels, has passed away in Karachi.
The sad news was shared by host Sidra Iqbal on her Instagram story.
"With great sadness, we announce the passing of Naheed Ansari," she wrote in the post.
"Naheed apa was truly a pioneer in her vision and approach and rightly dubbed as the Marth Stewart of Pakistan for her focus on home and hospitality," she added in her post.
The anchor person said that Ms Naheed was the first to design and conduct a finishing and grooming school for girls and homemakers in the country.
The funeral prayers of the culinary expert will be at Masjid-e-Ayesha in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase 6, Khayaban-e-Etthihad area of the metropolis on July 5 (today) after Namaz-e-Isha.
She will be laid to rest at DHA graveyard in the port city.
