Pakistan's youngest star Muhammad Shiraz’s father clarified that his son has not quit vlogging and took a break to focus on his studies and maintain a healthier routine.
Muhammad Taqi took to Instagram to reveal that he received backlash after fans misinterpreted Shiraz's decision to step back from vlogging.
"While many were supportive," he said, "others questioned the decision, with some even accusing me of exploiting my son's success for personal gain."
“They [netizens] are commenting that you only wanted fame for yourself. They say you pushed your child aside to promote yourself after he became successful,” he added.
Shiraz's father explained that he decided to give his son a break for a while because the demands of vlogging were disrupting his studies and daily routine. He also noticed "a shift in his behavior" that concerned him.
"At no point did we say Shiraz was leaving vlogging permanently. We only said that Shiraz has taken a break for a few days,” he clarified.
Muhammad Taqi said he had no idea that his decision would become national news headlines.
"That's not the case at all. Shiraz will be back making videos soon," he emphasised.
The father of 12-year-old YouTuber also disclosed that he was flooded with messages after his son’s last vlog, that left fans confused and disappointed.
Recently, Muhammad Shiraz bid a hearfelt goodbye to his fan in last video on Youtube, saying that his father wanted him to abandon daily vlogging to focus on his studies.
