Ushna Shah offers Rs100,000 reward to find men who threw stray dog from Karachi building

Renowned actor Ushna Shah has offered a financial reward for anyone who can help arrest the men involved in throwing a stray dog from the top floor of a residential building in Liaquatabad area of Karachi.

The video of the incident sparked outrage on social media and fueled calls from animal rights groups for the arrest of the individuals involved in the act of animal cruelty.

Taking to Instagram, Ushna shared a post accompanying pictures of the two men who filmed the incident and ordered the janitor to throw down the stray dog.

“I am personally offering a reward of 100,000 PKR (50k per monster) to anyone who turns these two in. Once they are behind bars, the reward will be given personally by me in cash," her Instagram story read.

In addition to the reward, Ushna Shah stated she would also hold a meet and greet with the individuals and their families who helped find the men.

The distressing incident came to light when the Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation (ACF) shared a video on social media and reported that some residents of the building were angry about stray dogs entering the area searching for food, causing fear and disturbance.

A case has already been registered against a janitor, named Qasim, under Section 5 and Section 428 of the Pakistan penal code at the Sharifabad police station.
