The grand premiere of renowned actress Yumna Zaidi's first feature film Nayab was held last night in Karachi, drawing a star-studded crowd of celebrities from the entertainment industry.

The premiere of Yumna Zaidi's first feature film Nayab, which is about the story of a female cricketer joining the national team, was held at Nueplex cinema in Karachi..

Yumna Zaidi, known for her typically modest attire, surprised her fans with a bold fashion choice. Her outfit featured a top that revealed her midriff.

Fans expressed disappointment, urging their beloved celebrity to stick to her unique style rather than succumb to mainstream trends.

Sharing her premiere look on Instagram, Yumna wore an embellished jacket over a short blouse, paired with a draped skirt and heels.

 

A social media user politely requested that the ‘Tere Bin’ star avoid wearing revealing outfits, explaining that many fans admire her in simple attire.

Another social media user noted, “We adore you a lot but you disppointed your fans.”

In 'Nayab,' Yumna Zaidi takes on the lead role as Nayab, a woman with a lifelong dream of becoming a cricketer but faces obstacles due to family and societal pressures.

Set in Karachi, the film also features Javed Sheikh, Adnan Siddiqui, Osama Khan, and Muhammad Fawad Khan alongside Faryal Mehmood.

The highly-anticipated film portrays Nayab's father, played by Javed Sheikh, opposing her cricket aspirations. 

On the other hand, Muhammad Fawad Khan portrays Nayab's supportive brother, guiding her from joining the cricket academy to making it into the national team.

Actor Adnan Siddiqui appears to assume the role of the women's cricket team coach.

Directed by Umair Nasir Ali, produced by Rumina Umair and Umair Irfani, most scenes  of 'Nayab' were captured in Karachi, several parts were also filmed in other cities, including Lahore.
