BBC Senior Correspondent Nafise Kuhnavard has stated that Iran has effectively emerged victorious in its confrontation with Israel, noting a regional consensus forming around this perception.
In a broadcast assessment, Kuhnavard emphasized the significance of Iran’s resilience, highlighting that despite over four decades of comprehensive sanctions, the country has managed to confront both Israel and the United States directly.
“The kind of destruction previously seen in Gaza and southern Lebanon is now visible within Israel itself,” Kuhnavard observed.
She added that Iran’s decision not to request a ceasefire signals a strategic upper hand in the ongoing conflict.

US President Donald Trump has warned Israel against launching strikes on Iran or violating the recently established ceasefire between the two nations.
The warning came shortly after Israel's Defense Minister ordered intensified attacks on Iran, alleging Tehran had breached the truce.
According to a report by Axios, President Trump made a direct phone call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told him not to proceed with any military action against Iran following the ceasefire agreement.
