Israel attacked five countries , killed over 56,000 Palestinian in 20 months: report

Israel’s escalating military campaign has engulfed the Middle East in widespread destruction, with over 35,000 attacks carried out across five countries in the past 20 months, according to data compiled by a U.S.-based non-governmental organization.

The assaults span Gaza, the occupied West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and most recently Iran.

The most intense bombardments occurred in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, where more than 18,000 airstrikes resulted in 56,000 Palestinian deaths and over 131,000 injuries.

In Lebanon, more than 15,000 Israeli strikes led to 1,500 fatalities, while in Syria, 200 attacks were recorded in the past six months alone.

Yemen saw 39 air raids primarily targeting airports and seaports. In Iran, 146 Israeli strikes over 12 days killed 610 people, including children, and injured over 5,000.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that at least 20 civilians, including 9 children, were killed in air raids on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City within the past 24 hours.

Hospital sources in Gaza noted that 60 Palestinians were killed across the enclave on the same day.

These devastating attacks follow remarks from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who claimed just a day prior that a ceasefire in Gaza could be reached "within a week."
