A local court in Karachi has extended the physical remand of Armaghan, the prime accused in the Mustafa Amir murder case, for an additional six days.
The accused was presented before the court upon the completion of his previous remand, after which he was handed over to the police until March 24.
During the hearing, a dramatic turn of events unfolded as Armaghan expressed distrust in his father, refusing both to meet him and to accept the lawyer arranged by him.
Initially, the court denied Armaghan’s father entry, prompting him to file a request seeking permission to meet his son, arguing that he needed to discuss the replacement of legal counsel.

On the defense lawyer’s assurance that there would be no disruption, the court granted entry to Armaghan’s father.
However, as the hearing progressed, the situation escalated when Armaghan’s father began causing a commotion inside the courtroom. Police officers forcibly removed him from the premises.
Meanwhile, Armaghan openly rejected the lawyer appointed by his father and refused to acknowledge any relationship with him, stating, "I do not want this lawyer, and I have no connection with my father."
