At least 63 Pakistani nationals were deported from four different countries within 24 hours, for various reasons, including visa vioaltions.

According to the sources, individuals who were deported arrived at Karachi airport on Monday and were allowed to go home after completing legal formalities.

As many as 29 Pakistani nationals were deported from Saudi Arabia. Four of them were beggars, 15 were homeless, and 10 were living in the Kingdom on expired visas.

In addition, 16 Pakistani nationals were deported from Malaysia as prohibited immigrants. 11 Pakistanis were sent back to Pakistan from Iraq on emergency passports due to illegal entry and overstaying.

Meanwhile, four Pakistani nationals were deported from the UAE to Pakistan for having an expired visa.

Earlier, authorities had blocked over 10,000 Pakistani citizens who were deported from Iran for illegally entering the country with a plan to reach Europe. 

After apprehending them, the Iranian authorities handed them over to Pakistan at the Taftan border in the Chagai district. The arrests of Pakistanis took place between January and December 15, highlighting the increasing efforts by youth to reach Europe via Iran by using illegal roads. 

In 2023, at least 8,272 Pakistanis were arrested in Iran. Between 2020 and 2024, over 62,000 Pakistani citizens, primarily from Punjab, were arrested for illegally entering Iran from Pakistan.

Moreover, in 2024, over 4,000 beggars were deported from Saudi Arabia during the last three years. 

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General (DG) Ahmad Ishaque Jehangir revealed several job recruitment agencies in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi were involved in the crime.
