The Ministry of Religious Affairs said on Friday that 84,000 intending pilgrims have deposited the first instalment of their Hajj expenses through the digital portal under the government scheme.

According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the figures for payments made through the Hajj Digital Platform have been released. The spokesperson said that 84,000 pilgrims had paid the first instalment through the Hajj Digital Portal under the government scheme.

The ministry said all 30,000 seats for the long Hajj package had been filled, while only 23,500 seats remained available.

According to the spokesperson, three payment methods had been introduced through the Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal. A total of Rs52.5 billion had been received through the three channels as the first instalment.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs urged those wishing to perform Hajj in 2027 to complete their personal details and payments on the Hajj Portal at the earliest.
