Legendary Sufi singer Abida Parveen has assured fans that she is in good health, following concerns raised after a viral video showed her sitting in a wheelchair at an international event.

The video, which circulated on social media, showed Parveen reciting her famous rendition of Man Kunto Maula at the National Museum of Qatar in Doha.

While her performance was widely praised, the sight of her sitting in a wheelchair led to worries among her followers about her wellbeing.

In response to the growing concern, Parveen’s team took to her official Instagram account to clarify the situation.

They explained that the wheelchair was used purely for convenience, as the exhibition she was attending required considerable walking.

The team emphasized that Parveen had walked some distance on her own but opted for the wheelchair to ensure comfort during the event.

The post reassured fans, stating, "We would like to assure you of her well-being, Alhamdulillah," adding that there was no cause for concern regarding her health. Parveen's team further expressed gratitude for the support and affection shown by her followers.
