Renowned Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq has expressed his willingness to once again work with his ex-leader and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
In a recent TV show appearance, Abrar shared his thoughts on politics and his potential return to the PTI.
The Billo De Ghar singer began by discussing a humorous comment made by Pakistani columnist Hassan Nisar, who joked about banning births in July due to the sensitivity of individuals born under the Cancer sign.
Abrar explained that people belonging to this sign are extremely sensitive, often making life difficult for others.
"I agree with Hassan Nisar," the Mein Gaddi vocalist said.
Regarding his return to politics, Abrar clarified that he is currently retired from politics.
"Currently, politics is not happening [in Pakistan]."
However, he left the door open, saying, "if there will be politics, we will see."
"If Imran Khan contacts me after his release from jail, I will definitely work for Pakistan," Abrar affirmed.
He was one of many PTI leaders who had left the party following violence in the country on May 9, 2023, when the 72-year-old politician was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case.
In a previous press conference in Lahore, Abrar expressed regret over supporting Imran Khan.
“I regret standing with Imran Khan,” Haq said informing that he grew up in a family with a political and military background.
