Actor Sajid Hasan’s son arrested in Mustafa Amir murder case

In a significant development in the Mustafa Amir kidnapping and murder case, law enforcement authorities have detained four individuals, including the son of well-known television actor Sajid Hassan.
According to reports, the investigative team conducted operations in various areas of Defence, leading to the arrests.
Police officials confirmed that the detained individuals were allegedly involved in drug possession, usage, and distribution.
Senior police officials stated that drugs were recovered from the possession of Sajid Hassan’s son. The suspects are also being questioned about their possible connection to Mustafa Amir and Armaghan, key figures in the case.
The families of the accused have been notified about the arrests.
Meanwhile, the suspects accused of killing 23-year-old Mustafa Amir, identified as Armughan and Shiraz, pointed out the spot in Dureji where they burned the victim to death, according to the police.
This latest development came after the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) team took the duo to the location, which they had identified during the investigation.
According to media reports, the suspects told police that they were en route to Hub via the Humdard University road, entering Hub through Sakrand before proceeding to Dureji. There, they stopped the car at a river and set it on fire.
While identifying the crime scene, the suspects also disclosed that after committing the act, they went to a hotel and had dinner. Police stated that they later brought the suspects to meet Mustafa Amir's relatives.
ATC extends suspects' physical remand
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday extended the physical remand of Armughan and Shiraz, accused of brutally torturing and killing 23-year-old Mustafa Amir in Karachi's DHA on January 6.

The suspects were produced in court, where the prosecutor requested a remand of at least two weeks. However, the court approved a five-day physical remand instead.
During the proceedings, suspect Armughan collpased in the courtroom. When asked if he wanted to say something, he started sobbing, and his father also broke down in tears
