Former prime minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan revealed that her brother was offered the option to leave the country or remain silent for two years.

Speaking to the media outside the Accountability Court in Lahore, Aleema Khan expressed frustration, stating it has been three weeks since she was allowed to meet Imran Khan.

She questioned what authorities were waiting for by keeping him locked up.

She further emphasised that if they were not allowed to meet Imran Khan that day, they would stage a sit-in at the prison.

Aleema Khan also addressed reports about an American delegation visiting Pakistan, stating that they had no prior knowledge of it and only discussed matters that Imran Khan himself shared with them.

She concluded by reiterating her brother's stance, saying, “Imran Khan has made it clear that he will not bow to any pressure and will not back down.”

Aleema Khan arrived at Adiala Jail on Tuesday to meet her brother but claimed that police had blocked the entry and authorities refused to let the PTI founder’s family inside.

Khan's sister expressed her frustration over being denied access, saying, “It has been two weeks since we were last allowed to meet Imran Khan.”

When asked about her next course of action, she warned, “Our entire family is here, and we will continue to sit outside the prison until we are granted a meeting with Imran Khan.”
