'Animosity' towards Nawaz Sharif plunged Imran Khan into crisis: Bokhari

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister and PML-N leader Azma Bokhari launched a scathing critique against the PTI founder and his family, accusing them of corruption and hypocrisy.

Azma Bokhari claimed that the PTI founder reached this point due to his animosity toward Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.

She alleged that “the PTI founder’s habit is to betray those who support him.”

The minister emphasized that despite no corruption cases against Maryam, she was targeted for political revenge.

Turning criticism to Bushra Bibi, Bokhari said the former first lady is involved in stealing precious necklace and a £190 million heist.”

“She still has to answer for her looting spree in Punjab.”

She noted the irony that the person demanding receipts from Nawaz and Maryam for five years cannot provide his own.

Azma Bokhari mentioned ongoing cases against Bushra Bibi, including the alleged sale of Toshakhana gifts using fake receipts.

Azma Bokhari concluded, “The PTI founder who chanted anti-corruption slogans has a family entangled in thefts and scandals.”
