A 10-day-old infant girl born with two heads underwent a successful operation at the Government Children's Hospital in Faisalabad.

According to hospital administrators, the child, a resident of Ghulam Muhammadabad, was born with two fully formed brains.

A skilled team led by renowned neurosurgeon Dr Faisal Feroz performed the intricate surgery.

The health expert shared details about the rare condition, saying, "the extra head and brain were surprisingly larger than the primary head attached to the torso."

The complex procedure resulted in the successful removal of the extra head.

"After the operation, the girl is now healthy and recovering well," Dr Feroz confirmed.

The hospital administration praised Dr Feroz and his team for their exceptional work.
