In a heartwarming gesture, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has sponsored the Hajj pilgrimage for ten elderly women, fulfilling their lifelong dream.
The announcement was made by the first Punjab woman CM in April during her visit to an old age house, Afiat, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The elderly women had expressed their desire to perform Hajj during CM Maryam's visit, and she graciously agreed to sponsor their pilgrimage.
A video shared by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on its official social media handle showed CM Maryam meeting with the group of Hajj aspirants before their departure.
