Dr Zakir Naik arrives in Pakistan for a month-long visit

Renowned Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik has arrived in Pakistan for a month-long visit to "connect with the larger Muslim community" across the country.
Upon his arrival at New Islamabad Airport on Monday, the cleric was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Additional Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs Syed Dr Attaur Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary Religious Affairs Shamsheer Ali Mazari, and other dignitaries.
During his visit, Dr Naik will address public gatherings in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.
The prominent preacher will also lead Friday prayers in different mosques across the country.

He will speak in Karachi on October 5 and 6, followed by lectures in Lahore on October 12 and 13, and finally in Islamabad on October 19 and 20.
These events will also be broadcast live on Peace TV, allowing a wider audience to benefit from Islamic preacher's expertise in comparative religion.
The events will be held at prominent venues, including Bagh-e-Quaid in Karachi and Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
Dr Naik's visit will also include meetings with high-ranking government officials and participation in various public events.
As a respected Islamic scholar, the religious figure has delivered over 2,000 public talks in more than 40 countries worldwide.
