Former Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry has cautioned that India may launch an attack on Pakistan in October.
Speaking on Geo News’ program Capital Talk, he said that elections are scheduled to be held in the Indian state of Bihar in November, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has historically sought electoral advantage through anti-Pakistan rhetoric and actions.
Political analyst Huma Baqai, while commenting on the program, urged Pakistan to present concrete evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism before the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to expose New Delhi’s policies at the international level.
Meanwhile, defense analyst Lieutenant General (Retd.) Abdul Qayyum emphasized the need to brief foreign diplomats stationed in Pakistan to keep them informed about India’s potential designs and to reinforce Pakistan’s position in the region.
