Father travelling to Ghotki after daughter’s death killed in dacoits’ firing near Karachi’s Super Highway

A man was killed and another injured in a firing incident near the Super Highway bus terminal in Karachi, according to rescue officials.

Rescue sources said the deceased, identified as Mansoor Ahmed Sheikh, was travelling to Ghotki after receiving news of his daughter’s death when he came under fire allegedly opened by robbers near the bus adda.

The injured person was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while the body of the deceased was transported for legal formalities.

Police reached the scene after the incident and launched an investigation. Authorities are collecting evidence and trying to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting.

No arrests have been made so far, while further investigation is under way.
